If you're looking to hit the Art Hauser Centre for Professional Bull Riding action this weekend, disappointment will be the only emotion you'll feel - for now.
Some websites have the original dates, April 20 and 21, posted for the event. But in January, organizers moved the event to May 11-12 to ensure the best riders in North America could attend.
"It's really coming together well," event chairman Ryan Byrne said Monday, who was surprised to hear the wrong event dates were still posted.
"Everyone is very enthusiastic and we'll have the 45 best bull riders in North America."
All of the bulls that the riders will get on are top Canadian stock, many having been used in the Stampede rodeo in Calgary and the Canadian Rodeo Championships. This is the third year for the PBR stop in Prince Albert.
"In my rodeo career, I had so many people supporting me," said Byrne. "Pro bull riding is the fastest growing extreme sport in the world.
"It's an event everyone can enjoy. It's unpredictable and man against animal. People will be on the edge of their seat. I like to say everyone from eight months to 88 can enjoy it."
The committee bringing the event to Prince Albert is non-profit. After expenses are covered, the money raised is given back to the community. The committee has donated $10,000 to Ronald McDonald House in the last two years. Ronald McDonald House provides homes near medical facilities for seriously ill children and their families.
"It's a great organization that does great things for families in need," said Byrne. "The one in Saskatoon helps all Saskatchewan people."
The group has also donated funds to the Prince Albert Raiders hockey organization and the three local Centre-Four Hockey League teams. This year, the teams were given raffle tickets to sell, with all proceeds kept by the hockey teams.
The winner received a VIP pass to the PBR event. The prize includes four passes, meal, souvenirs, behind-the-scenes tour and a meet and greet with the bull riders.
Prince Albert's Bryan and Deanna Rindal were the winners.
Doors open at 7 p.m. both nights at the Art Hauser Centre. A dance in the Ches Leach Lounge follows the Friday night affair. Tickets for the dance are $5 for those with a PBR ticket.
Tickets for the event are available at the Raiders box office at the Art Hauser Centre, by calling 764-4263 or online.
