This girl may be into double digits age wise but she still has a lot of get up and go! Mavis arrived in our care on Aug. 7, 2012 and is at least 10 years old. Due to her length of stay with us Mavis is now in a foster home. Despite her age Mavis is always up for a good walk, long ones suit her just fine, but she’d be just as happy laying at you feet as she is a happy and content senior. Mavis loves people of all ages but would prefer to be the only pet in the home. She's great with kids, she lets them wrap their arms around her and she takes treats very gently from them. She loves to dress up and has become our "model" at the shelter. Mavis is completely house trained, she lets you know when she has to go out, very affectionate, up to date with her vaccinations, spayed and micro chipped. Senior dogs need homes just as much a puppies and deserve to have a place where they can live out their days in comfort, knowing they are loved! Mavis has amazing blue eyes so if you’d like to give this sweet senior a home where she can live out her days lavishing you with love please call our Animal Care Center at 1-306-763-6110 and we can arrange a visit.
