Myles MacDonald and other local artists have been hard at work.

MacDonald hosted his annual art show including three other local artists - Tim Moore, Donna McKeand Smith and Michel Boutin who was not able to attend the show.

MacDonald said he has been painting professionally since 1970 and works primarily on landscapes.

He often gets his ideas while going for walks by his property just off highway 2 and along highway 355.

See Tuesday's Herald for more details.
